Mammography Arlington 1st quarter 1997
The registrant failed to ensure the annual evaluation of the entire mammography system was performed at the correct time interval, in violation of TRCR 37.10(a)(2).
The supervising physician failed to perform the following, in violation of TRCR 37.10(c)(1):
review the technologists’ quality control test results quarterly
The registrant failed to ensure that the darkroom fog did not exceed 0.05 optical density, in violation of TRCR 37.10(a)(3)(iii). This was corrected at the time of the inspection and no response is necessary for this violation.
The Interpreting Physician did not meet the continuing experience requirement, i.e. interpreting an average of 40 patient examinations per month over 24 months.
